Puzzling Squares

Green Growth was an international conference at the Copenhagen City Hall. In the Main Hall Sahls has designed a combined exhibition and installation, which also serves as informative venue for coffee breaks . The design is based on quadratic sustainable furniture boards that can be combined in countless ways and in a simple way create a large spatial exhibition. Subsequently the exhibition can be disassembled and reused at other venues. The use of squares recurres in a game designed as small boards that can be stacked as the exhibition, assembled in a light box and easily taken home in the trunk. As an outdoor installation inviting the citizens of Copenhagen to reflect on sustainable city design, Kollision made an animated light installation on the façade of the City Hall. Client: The Danish Architecture Centre / Dansk Arkitektur Center Project: Installation during a conference at the Copenhagen City Hall Work: Visual identity, exhibition design, print design, packaging
